Comedy Writer and Script Editor

George broke into writing after a friend persuaded him to submit some sketches to Scottish sketch show Pulp Video. From there, he quickly went on to become a writer on Radio 4's satirical sketch show Week Ending. After that, he became lead writer on the News Quiz and wrote for a large number of Radio and TV comedy programmes for adults and children, from Dead Ringers to Horrible Histories via Chucklevision and Have I Got News for You. George recently completed work as Script Editor on Nickelodeon International's first live-action comedy, Goldie's Oldies.
